Roots

My father was a very talented architect who opened his own General Contracting company in 1979. He was well known throughout SW Florida, and he built his reputation on the belief that honesty and a handshake were the highest forms of contract. He treated every client — from millionaires building large structures, to churches built so a community had a place to worship, to families creating their first homes — with the same unwavering respect, always giving 110% to ensure their dreams stood on a solid foundation. He didn't follow the "standard practice" of the crowd; he followed his heart and a commitment to doing right by his neighbors.
I carry those lessons in my heart today. Over the last 20 years, I worked my way up through company operations, learning the structure of how a business actually runs — from the ground floor up. Along the way, I saw too much. I watched good people and good companies get taken advantage of, simply because they followed the "standard way" instead of asking whether it was the right way. I saw how easily trust could be exploited when no one was watching the foundation.
That's why I opened The Architect's Daughter | Bookkeeping with Purpose — to offer a change. Just as a successful construction project requires a precise blueprint, a series of layers that reveal the bigger picture, a business requires financial clarity to thrive. I apply that same architectural precision to my clients financial records, transforming complex data into the facts they need to make confident decisions.

Why I Opened The Architect's Daughter
I may not be framing houses in the field, but I am following in my father's footsteps the best way I can — picking up where he left off where it really mattered to him the most, with his neighbors. In doing what is right. In offering what I do best, in service. I'm here to help you engineer the financial structural integrity of your business as your bookkeeper — your bridge to your CPA, be the person who keeps your day-to-day financial foundation solid, organized, and honest. My purpose is simple: give small business owners — the ones working hard to make it — a bookkeeper they can trust completely. Someone who's seen the wrongdoing out there, who knows exactly how it happens, and who works to help you avoid it.
I don't just balance your books; I build the bedrock of accountability and precision that lets your vision reach its highest potential.
My Purpose
Honest work, for fair pay. That's the standard I hold myself to — because it's the only one worth having.

What you can expect from a partnership with my firm:
My father’s legacy serves as the literal and metaphorical foundation for how I approach every client partnership.
This influence is reflected in several key ways:
Unwavering Respect and Equality: Just as my father treated every client—from millionaires and churches to families building their first homes—with the same level of respect, I carry the principle that every business owner deserves fairness and dedication, regardless of the size of their project.
Integrity-Based Relationships: My father was known as a "man of his word" who finalized his agreements with a handshake rather than just following "standard practice". I honor this by leading with my own heart and running my company on core values of honesty and doing what is right above all.
The "Blueprint" Approach to Precision: Drawing from my father's architectural background, I view a business's financial records as a blueprint. Just as he oversaw every step of a construction plan to ensure a solid structure, I apply architectural precision to bookkeeping to reveal the "bigger picture," allowing my clients to make confident, fact-based decisions.
A Commitment to 110%: My father’s drive to go "above and beyond" for his clients and his local vendors to ensure the highest quality of work is a standard I hold dear. I apply these lessons to the work I do best—bookkeeping—to ensure my clients' business operations and record keeping "stand tall".
