Roots

My father was a very talented architect and opened his own General Contracting company in 1979. He was very well known in SW Florida and built his reputation on the belief that honesty and a handshake were the highest forms of contract. He treated every client—from millionaires building large structures, building churches for the community so they had places to worship to families creating their first homes—with the same unwavering respect, always giving 110% to ensure their dreams stood on a solid foundation. He didn't follow the "standard practice" of the crowd; he followed his heart and a commitment to doing right by his neighbors.

I carry those lessons in my heart and use them to guide my own company today. Just as a successful construction project requires a precise blueprint—a series of layers that reveal the bigger picture—a business requires financial clarity to thrive. At The Architect’s Daughter | Bookkeeping with Purpose, I apply that same architectural precision to your financial records, transforming complex data into the facts you need to make confident decisions.

I may not be framing houses in the field, but I am here to help you engineer the financial structural integrity of your business. I don’t just balance your books; I build the bedrock of accountability and precision that allows your vision to reach its highest potential.

What you can expect from a partnership with my firm:

My father’s legacy serves as the literal and metaphorical foundation for how I approach every client partnership.

This influence is reflected in several key ways:

  • Unwavering Respect and Equality: Just as my father treated every client—from millionaires and churches to families building their first homes—with the same level of respect, I carry the principle that every business owner deserves fairness and dedication, regardless of the size of their project.

  • Integrity-Based Relationships: My father was known as a "man of his word" who finalized his agreements with a handshake rather than just following "standard practice". I honor this by leading with my own heart and running my company on core values of honesty and doing what is right above all.

  • The "Blueprint" Approach to Precision: Drawing from my father's architectural background, I view a business's financial records as a blueprint. Just as he oversaw every step of a construction plan to ensure a solid structure, I apply architectural precision to bookkeeping to reveal the "bigger picture," allowing my clients to make confident, fact-based decisions.

  • A Commitment to 110%: My father’s drive to go "above and beyond" for his clients and his local vendors to ensure the highest quality of work is a standard I hold dear. I apply these lessons to the work I do best—bookkeeping—to ensure my clients' business operations and record keeping "stand tall".
